Goodness me, it has been FOREVER since I've done a Positively Polished post! Ack! The good news is, all of my recitals are over! So that means no more painting, cutting, scraping, and fixing props! (aka my poor nails have been a wreck!) Of course, with my new June Julep polishes, I just HAD to fix up my nails a bit! So here we are! -
I call it Daffy-dils...bright, fun and full of color! Plus my hubby said that the accent nail looks like pollen...so I just went with it ::smiles::
The yellow is Julep's Lexie, and the mint green is Julep's Dianna!
If you missed my post on these two fabulous polishes that were included in my June Boho Glam box, here is the link:
and for the accent nail, I used Sally Hansen's Fuzzy Coat in Fuzz-Sea!
I had originally painting the yellow on my pointer and middle fingers and mint green on my ring and pinky fingers for review purposes in my Julep post, but I really loved the way it looked and them I remember I had picked up this Fuzzy Coat and I thought: AHA! PERFECT! (seriously, I did!) So I decided to just blend the two together with an accent chevron nail in the middle!
My poor nails and cuticles...I've got to get them back into shape!
Well, that's it folks...I'm keeping today's post short and sweet since I'm feeling a tad under the weather. Gonna lay down, drink some tea and hit the hay!
Lots of love, and
