August REVEAL - Julep

JULEP'S AUGUST MAVEN SELECTION WINDOW IS OPEN!

Yay! The weekend is here! and to go along with the fabulousness of the weekend, the August Maven selection window is not open for Maven subscribers until June 24th! The theme of Julep's August box is:

THE GARDEN PARTY

"Summer is in full bloom, and so are August's colors."

"We're kicking off our third year of trend-setting colors, innovative products, and exciting surprises. First up: this gorgeous garden-inspired collection." - from Julep

and here is the collection (click pictures for larger view):

(*This image is minus one beauty product (Moisture Mask Trio) in collection)

and here are the individual profiles:

BOHO GLAM:

BOMBSHELL

CLASSIC WITH A TWIST

IT GIRL

MODERN BEAUTY

FEATURED ADD-ON

ENTIRE UPGRADE

So what do we think of August's box? Personally, I ADORE all of the colors! I think they're perfect for the Garden Party theme and the Champagne Trio add-on is absolutely beautiful. I'm a little disappointed though that unlike last month the add-on is not included in the Upgrade. I do understand, though, that these three polishes aren't really a part of the collection, but are special anniversary polishes, so it does actually make sense. Also, it appears that the Moisture Mask Trio only has single usage packets for hands, feet and nails. Well boo, I'd at least prefer to have two packets of each! So the entire upgrade consists of:

      • Doublestep Foot Treatment & Blister Stick
      • Moisture Mask Trio (for hands, feet & nails)
      • Nine Polishes:
        • Lois - celery green creme
        • Francis - dusty rose frost
        • Bea - lemonade creme
        • Lacey - midnight blue with purple shimmer
        • Sylvia - lilac purple shimmer
        • Veronica - modern mauve creme
        • Fiore - espresso brown creme
        • Nellie - pink fuschia creme
        • Marjorie - citrus orange frost

and the add-on is:

      • The Champagne Trio Polishes:
        • Amity: white gold metallic
        • Reiko: rose gold metallic
        • Clio: silver, pink & lavender multidimensional glitter

So what profile are you this month? Or are you not feeling anything at all, and have decided to skip? OR maybe you've fallen mani over pedi and are jumping in for the whole kit and caboodle! If you're not a Julep Maven yet, does this collection make you want to join for the next month?....my that's a lot of questions.....enjoy your weekend!

Happy Makeuping!

    1. I haven't been subbed to Julep for too terribly long, but unless Julep starts branching out more with crazy colors I may have to start skipping as well! My collection certainly is getting vast in the meantime! LOL

I am following you as well! :-D
