Glamour Doll Eyes OTM - November 2013

Is it cold yet where you live?! I keep begging and begging for Fall to begin because I LOVE it so much and the weather is being downright STUBBORN about it. If I'm wearing short sleeves for Thanksgiving, there may be a turkey thrown across the room ::grin::

This month's Glamour Doll Eyes Of the Month bag is SO full of goodies! It definitely has an approaching Holiday season feel which I'm totally diggin'.

Here is this month's eyeshadow!.....

First of all, how ADORABLE is that little reindeer on the lid! I LOVE IT! I think the name of this eyeshadow is just perfect and it's a gorgeous color for the month of November.

Cozy Sweater: a semi matte orange with a yellowish green undertone

Safe For: Eyes, Lips, Nails, Face

Cozy Sweater is SO pigmented and soft. As you can see one single swipe provides so much color and pigmentation. The shimmer is fairly subtle, but still so pretty. Over NYX's Jumbo Pencil in Milk it turns into more of a rusty orange shade that is STUNNING. It also blends very easily and fairly smoothly, I just blended this with my fingertips, but with a brush it blends flawlessly. I think it is THE shade for Fall and Thanksgiving!

Hoooraaaah! Happy Anniversary Glamour Doll Eyes! What a fantastic surprise...which is coincidentally called Suprise! Haha!

Surprise!: a pearl base with multi-colored sparkle.

Safe For: Eyes, Lips, Nails, Face

This shadow is BEAUTIFUL! It is the PERFECT shadow for inner corner brightening or highlighting below the brow bone. It's even gorgeous swept across the lid for some subtle brightness that wakes up your eyes or lightly dusted across a color for some pearly sheen. A single swipe is nicely pigmented, and with NYX's Milk, it just adds a more solid base but it almost doesn't need it at all. Blended it creates a stunning pearly shimmer. DEFINITELY a fantastic addition to any beauty stash!

in Wigilia
"We also have another extra this month from Moon Rabbit Cosmetics. She sent along something we have never had before: a perfume oil!"

Wigilia: the distinctive smell of that fizzy pink ginger ale

This is exactly what happened when I first saw the perfume oil and read the card: "Hmmm, fizzy pink ginger ale...there's no way it'll smell that close to fizzy pink ginger ale....OH MY WORD IT, SMELLS JUST LIKE FIZZY PINK GINGER ALE! I LOVE THIS SO MUUUUCH!"

Haha, I kid you not. I nearly fainted with excitement! You would swear you could feel the carbonation under your nose when you smell it. It's fresh, bright and has that sweet ginger ale aroma. The scent lasts fairly long too for a perfume oil! I could smell it on my wrist for about 4 hours before I felt like I wanted to put more on. I'll definitely be purchasing more!

Always an awesome surprise! YUMMY GUMMIS! Sadly though, I started a diet about a week these will be going to my Hubby...whom I'm sure won't complain at all. ::giggles::

I have to say, I think Glamour Doll Eyes Finales are my favorite just because her eyeshadows are so pigmented and fun to work with! I was totally inspired by her shadow name Cozy Sweater, so I went for a Fall-cozy-comfort look.

I used both Cozy Sweater and Surprise!. I dusted Cozy Sweater all over my eyelid and blended it out towards my eyebrows, as well as blending it down under my bottom eyelashes. Then I lightly blended a dark brown shadow on the very outer corner of my eyelid for some shadowing. I also used brown mascara and brown-coppery eyeliner right above my eyelashes. I finished the eyes by dusting Surprise! on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them, then I patted it right on top of a white eyeliner on my waterline to open up the eyes.

Ok, now I really want a pumpkin spice latte.....

I hope you enjoyed the review! I HIGHLY recommend giving Glamour Doll Eyes a try! Here's their website -

Check them out and their products and be sure to keep the OTM in mind!

Happy (cozy) Makeuping!

  1. such a perfect cozy sweater look! I am a mess with loose shadows but this brand is quite lovely!

    1. Thank you very much! It took me a while to learn how to work with them without getting pigment everywhere LOL I finally learned to work very, very slow and build up as I go instead of packing too much on my brush. :-)
