June REVEAL - Ipsy

SPOILERS, SNEAK PEEKS & MORE!

Hello Summer! Are you excited? I'm not a huge fan of the weather or bright sunny days, but hellooooo vacation time! My work hours are cut back and I can spend more time on my blog, getting back in shape and seeing my besties! Yay! 

First things first...ipsy Sneak Peeks! So far, we've had two and they look awesome already...take a look...

So it looks like it's a paradise theme!

BUTTER GLOSSES 

First of all, this is more than confirmed, because emails also went out to ipsy subscribers who are not currently subscribed as an incentive to resign-up for the Glam Bag. Here is what was in the email:

Neither the email or Sneak Peek photo show what shades these are (as there are 22 total on NYX's website!) but based off of comparing, here's what I found: 

Eclair BLG02 (pink)

I'm basing these matches off of the theory that the same three shades are in both the ipsy email and the Sneak Peek photo. That is not confirmed, but it seems reasonable based off of the wording "one of these amazing shades". It seems that ipsy used NYX's website photos for their email, so I matched the shades from that rather than the Sneak Peek, as the lighting is different which can make the color appear a bit different.

My thanks to Amy from Grey Duck Blogging for allowing me to use her photo! Once I found the product, I went searching for a good picture of the sample foil and found it in an April review of her Beauty Army subscription. Looks like a perfect match!

So here's what is strange...you can make out the word "Eyebrow" right below OFRA in this photo, so it's an eyebrow pencil. OFRA's website only has one eyebrow pencil photo, but it looks olive green, HOWEVER, in all the photos from bloggers, etc. it definitely looks brown, just like the photo I used above. THIS photo that I used is shown under the brown eyeliner (like the sneak peek from yesterday). SOOOOOO, it is quite possible that we're not receiving a brown eyeliner at all, but the eyebrow pencil instead. (Product shown in both sneak peeks. ipsy has done that before). Now, why the online photo for the brow pencil looks olive green, I have no idea! Hahaha!

The coloring is different, but I'm assuming that it's because it's a smaller tube. I could not find a match for the 58ml travel size, but the writing is the same!
